Tournament Background:
The USA Karate Arizona Summer Shiai Karate Championship is a sanctioned USA Karate competition. This is the second of four annual AZ competitions. Points are awarded to the top three competitors who place in each division. The top three competitors in each division after the fourth competition are recognized and awarded at the Annual Awards Banquet held in November.

Athletes from around the country compete in our Arizona tournaments. The point competition is only for Arizona competitors.

Modified WKF rules are used.

Referees and judges are certified.
